My Wellesley
Marilynn Willey

Marilynn Willey ’14

I am studying Classical Civilization and Education and my primary interest is education policy, especially as it relates to broader social, political, and economic issues in the U.S.

At Wellesley, I am active on campus as Social Chair of Wellesley College Republicans. As an Adam Smith Fellow, my broad research interests include the relationship between freedom and concepts such as personal autonomy, human nature, power, and multiculturalism, though I am particularly interested in contrasting the meaning of freedom in our modern liberalist culture with the meaning of freedom from a traditionalist conservative viewpoint
