I am interested in the different and often contrasting views of freedom and how they impact political theory and policy decisions.

My name is Melissa Pettit and I am a senior at Wellesley College. I am from New Jersey and I am majoring in Political Science and Psychology. I think that different interpretations of the meaning of freedom are the crux of competing perspectives and frameworks within political theory.
